oh my god! just stepped in from the RMIT-SIM 20th Anniversary Dinner at Sheraton Towers Hotel..
so honoured to be part of it..performed, mingled, networked, ate...
it was so nice to meet my lecturers again.. my investment lecturer who is CEO of his own financial advisory company is a good friend of Stan Chart's CEO man hahaha
and there's that Business Law lecturer.. fascinates me each time he touches on the Womens' Charter..
then the Customer Service lecturer.. oh so much fun
and the Aussie lecturersssss! saw a totally cool side of them..
then the Chancellors and Presidents of RMIT and SIM..

i am off to pack for tmr and the weekend!

i know i know.. im suppposed to blog but omggggggg im so tired but im starting to get worried that i might have forgotten what i've done for the past week... so im gonna try to list it down now... and elaborate later..
Last Wednesday- Insomnia with Alex, Estee and Primero..
Thursday- supposed to catch movie and dinner but wed night killed me
Friday- ballymoons gig.. alex, my cousin came and jammed.. met Finnish lad, Tomi.. headed to Pump Room after... prata at bencoolen after
Saturday- felt sick.. really sick... went to docs... but still managed to head to Fort Canning for WOMAD!oh yea! super cool!with Estee, Dila and Tomi.. and met Iylia Estentoreo :)... prata at bencoolen after again!
got home at 4am... mum came to room at 4.15am with the shockin news.. Uncle passed away :(
tragically. :( headed to CGH at 4.30am.. headed to cousin's place for funeral until 11pm on
Sunday night... no sleep... my Uncle's passing away is just too sudden :(
Monday- work.....yes... despite the lack of sleep.. down with flu.. on antibiotics..
Tuesday-work... then to cousin's house for prayers for my Late Uncle..
Wednesday (today)- no Insomnia! haha had meeting at Odeon Towers and headed to Loof for drinks and food.. then headed home... at 10pm.. so early hehehe yay!
ok.... i have a crazy weekend.. i dont know when i can blog again.
Thursday(tmr)- after work, i have to head to Sheraton Towers Hotel for my uni, RMIT-SIM Anniversary Dinner :)
Friday- Ballymoons 4 sets! someone's birthday... i sense crowd! omg! then my family picking me up and kidnapping me to Malaysia..
Saturday-heading to Pulai Springs for Dad's company Family Day..yay short getaway..
Sunday- as above
Monday- off day.. spending in Malaysia..
Tuesday- back to work!!!!!!
ok... yay!
and my cousin Alex is supposed to fly back to Dubai by tmr.. but can't get tickets.. shall hang out with her till she leaves... i mean when i come back :)
oh and Hong Kon in October!!
and that sexy Full Moon Party at Koh Phangan and Bangkok (again!) in December! omgggggggggggggggggg
and oh i miss Jazzy baby... i have no time to hang out. :(

soooo i am back frm BKK and i am seriously missing it..
i can summarise my trip simply by saying "shopping and partying"..
just a skinny of the trip..
we landed at bout 10am singapore time which is 9am Thai time. after an amazingly typical Bangkok ride to our hotel (i thought i was gonna die), we started shopping haha..
we checked in to our suites at Grand Diamond Bangkok which is next to this crazy amazing mall, Platinum.. every girl's dream destination haha.. screw Mauritius or Carribean man. Platinum was the place to be...4-5 storeys of total maze of nothing but clothes, shoes, bags and accessories... it was Chatuchak in aircon.. wait..no.. it's better than Chatuchak..
spent the whole afternoon there. by the way, the first group consisted of 4 girls and 3 boys.. and obviously the boys did not wanna come along haha.. but 4 girls went wild.. i grabbed eveything i saw.. i didn't even think! no time haha
then we headed back to the hotel to get changed.. plan was to head to Healthland.. a very highly recommended spa... massage appointment was waiting for us... so it was us the girls together with one of our managers with his wife.. so it was 3 of us in a cab and another girl with our manager and wife.. unfortunately for us, our cab driver was such a dick. he brought us to another spa (which i bet he gets commission for bringing us there). we insisted on going to Heartland and the other cab was already on the way there.. like 3o mins later, we realised we were nearing out hotel yet again so we decided to cancel on spa.. which was such a disappointment! but we ended up at MBK... another shopping paradise..we didn't shop much but spent more time enjoying our steamboat.. the 3 of us while the other 3 were having a good massage..
we then planned to meet them at Suan Lum Night Market.. it was cool but we were just dead tired and i think i've shopped enough for the day.. we got back at almost 1am and we bumped! hehe
Saturday morning.. we got up early.. me and roommate Joycelyn.. we had breakfast at the hotel.. and together with manager, Rene and his wife, we headed to Chatuchak!
ohhh crazy Chatuchak.. u can find literally everything there. but due to time constraint, we had to time ourselves... spent maybe like 3-4 hrs ?? haha not enough for sure.. but we headed back to the hotel to dump our way too much shopping.. then headed back to MBK (which we did not have enough of) and met up with the girls.. and the boys.. for Japanese lunch haha.yes.. in BKK. hhahaha it was nice to have the boys back hahah.they went clubbing the night before without us haha but we were busy shoppping..
sooo then we headed backkk to the hotel at bout 7pm.. to meet up for dinner with the 2nd group which just landed!!! when we got to the lobby, there were there.. it was so exciting to finally get together.. we all went back to the room and met back at lobby for dinner.. Chinese dinner.. but Thai style.. it was sooo nice.. it was nice to be with all of them!
and then of coz.. it was party time!! 4 girls and 5 boys headed to RCA, Route 66... all i can say was.. wow wow wow! Good looking, well-dressed, cool Thais... tourists.. in a really cool club... freakin amazing!
and all i can say is "what happened in BKK stays in BKK" and don't bother asking. haha
i was amazed at the accoustic band in the toilet with a really cute singer...
i remembered cute boy i took pic with.. hehehe
got back to hotel at say 3.30am local time ? 4.30am Singapore time. thing is, their clubs close early.. like 2am.. but omg was it fun..
apparently, i passed out when i got back and some of them were in the guys room playing cards? iono man. i remembered picking up the phone and was asked to go to the guys room.. and im like "ok.. 1 min" but i went back to work.. hahaha
Jocelyn was super gone haha. so funny hehe
she walked in to the room say 6am saying she went clubbing again with them..to Hollywood she said..
the next morning, i managed to get up early for breakfast.. 9am man. so proud of myself.. maybe coz i needed caffeine so bad.. then i asked the rest and NO, they did not go to Hollywood.. Joyce was deluded coz she wanted to go so much. haahahah
after breakfast, i had to pack my bag coz we had to check out. Joyce was still in bed. some of them wanted to pray at the temple so Rachael and i went to Platinum.. i wanted to show her Platinum.. and of coz i shopped again. heheh
then we headed to Siam Square where we were supposed to meet the rest but didn't.. we walked around ourselves.. then supposed to go to Siam Centre to meet the rest but found out everyone was scattered so we just headed back to Platinum.. and yes i shopped again... ehhehe
thennn we retired in Rach's room and waited for everyone..
4.30pm.. our ride came.. and to the airport we went...
i was sad but very contented... ehhehehe
but worst thing happened.. we were walking thru the gate to the airplane when i say Alex... the black man who traumatised me and made me afraid of all black guys after... long story but omg.. thanks to my Chatuchak farmer hat, i put it on and walked looking down... i swear he saw me... but wtf!! what a coincidence! what were the chances of that!! same fuckin plane!!
but.. there was this boy..who managed to distract me thruout the flight (not a smooth ride at all and it didn't help i have fear of flying. can u imagine my flight to the States? sheesh). but anyway, Thai Airline... omg!
and so back to the boy. i realised he was representing Singapore in some sport which i couldn't figure.. but he was so cute.. and thruout the flight, it was all about eye contact, smiling and nodding.. that was all. he was so shy.. so was i.. hehe
we bumped again at the immigration and the luggage pick up.. and it was the smiling again..
it didn't help that i was so tired and it was midnight, i couldn't flirt any more than that. haha
and he was too shy as well but i realised Babyman knows his friend.. and i found out he represented us in Golf.. how hot is that..
but he's passe.. it was a flight thing.. haha
and work today was tiring..
and i am tired now..
i have pics but my cam is not charged.. and i think Rach has more pics.. so let's wait for her to get back on Wed..

Today, my boyfriend and i watched "Perfect Stranger".... amazing mind....
and yes.. i am home.. on a Wed... sheesh..
only coz im gonna party like hell in BKK this weekend hahaha
so today, i called Mum on her mobile. she was with my cousins and aunt. she passed the phone to lil Sarah and i spoke to her. and

i was like "who is Aishah?"

and i was like "so that would mean she's my cousin as well right?" (note Sarah is 8 years old)

Sat night.... feeling sickkk... well, i am sick... ive been pushing myself too hard i suppose. i've been feverish since forever but i kept telling myself that it's all in the mind... hahha but truth is, i am really sick.. i went to work anyway yesterday but today, i lost it...
i actually overslept but i know i can still make it in time for work this morning but i got up feeling amazingly sick... my throat was in so much pain... and my nose was runny and my head was heavy so i thought, for my own good, i should stay home...
i got up at bout 11am. and went to the docs with mum...
then got home, took my med and i knocked out man.... on the couch..
then had to go to uncle's place.. if u do read Berita Harian, my Dad's lil bro, Hizam, was on the front page of it a few days ago coz he is representing Singapore with some others on a yatch around the world for 10 months.. so today, we had a gathering for him and my lil cousin turned 1 as well.. hehehe
got there and they were watching movies.. but my med was making me so drowsy so i dozed off for a bit.. haha
then now im home............................... hehe..
just ate my med so im guessing i will knock out soon again...
sorry Estee for not going with u... i would if i felt a lil better. it's not me at all to be home on a Sat night..

i need to stop re-reading my archived posts.. esp those before oct 2005....the "my life revolves around Leo" posts.. gosh i loved that dude.. maybe i still do.. i guess i always will.. together we never will be again but in my heart he will always be.. my first true love..
the next time someone asks to define "love".. my answer will be "love is when i loved Leo"...
blah that! i got into that coz i was watching the NDP parade of coz. and the 1st Commando Battalion like always is the Guard of Honour...reminded me of Leo marching proud in 2005's parade.. such a proud moment..
i love NDP celebrations although being physically at the parade would be awesome, it's just such a patriotic moment for all fellow Singaporeans.. despite all the cursing, whining and moaning of how rigid this country can be, i am so proud to be a Singaporean. and there is no place like home.. yes Justin Lacey, u need to come back home. Canada isn't for u at all hehe
ok.... so back to the parade.. it's the same every year.. for me, i only like 3 segments.. the Red Lions jumping off.. the sexy men in uniform marching and the fireworks... and of coz when Singaporeans come together to say the pledge and sing the National Anthem.. awesome!
ok.. enough of that!
so like what have i been up to these days....
like monday, i went straight home after work..
then tuesday, hmmmm i think i planned to go home after work then Minah Khai called.. and because of her, i bought 3 pairs of shoes!!!! but i made her buy 3 pairs as well.. fair right!!!!

besides work, last night i had a gig with Mark at Ballys. being the eve of a holiday and all.
after work, made my way to Mark's crib to jam for a couple of hours. (and yes Mark..i am really scared of parents. haha)
then we made our way to town.. had dinner at Ballys itself.... and i was just incredibly glad that my colleagues from the branch came to watch me! yay!!

then poor me lost my voice.. i've been feeling shit since Tues night actually... i woke up on Wed morning with a serious sore throat.. well more like my tonsils were inflammated or some shit. and first thing which came to my mind was "singing tonight!".. so on Tues night, mummy made me drink and eat so many things man.. haha like cooling water la. honey lemon la.
it was better on Wed but worst thing happened.. almost towards the end of my last set, i lost it.. i cracked big time man..
and now, im almost voiceless.. i am glad i have 2 weeks off singing.. next gig is on 24th... coz...
i am off to Bangkok for the weekend next week! oh yea baby!
but ok anyway, after the gig, i was tired but i didn't wanna waste the night... babyman, ben, rach, estee, mark and i made our way to Living Room.. oh yea!!!!!!!!!
but that shit killed me.. and i was dead beat.. and i got home at almost 6am and i passed out immediately... hahaha
but i had a lot of fun omg omg omg omg!!

i am sooo lazy to blog.. its just bout past midnight on a sunday evening and i've not blogged in ages..
but he's a short one for today...
on Wed, i had a million plans.. which is queer since it was a Wed night. but yea.. first up was St James for the company function. then rushed to Insomnia and the worst thing happened when i was on my way to Obar for Vicky's bday party...

yes.. left it in the cab.. that just totally ruined my night..
it's not the phone that mattered.. it's the contacts.....ohh wellss....
soo yea... i got a new phone though on Thurs.. blessing in disguise. i got a new phone at an awesome deal.. my new phone is the Motorola Razr Maxx V6.. yay..

then on Sat, there was extended banking hours but whining and throwing a bitch fit got me home earlier than expected.. i even got my parents to pick me up.. i was dead beat. i passed on shopping! that's how tired i was. i passed out when i got home...
got up at 9pm and just chilled all night long.. had a voice conversation on msn with Willy in Japan hehe.. such a sweet soul..
today, i slacked yet again.. hhehehe then, at bout 6pm, left the house to meet Iylia (lead singer of Stentorian.. check out their music and support them.. they're awesome. i bet i mentioned this b4.( www. myspace.com/stentorianrocks)..... but yea. it is so awesome to finally hang out with him.. hehe i had a good time dude. thanks. hope to see u soon again..
