Sunday was spent with my cousins who r here to visit from Dubai... went to Muddy Murphys at 4pm. amazing hah
Monday was spent at work and then to Arab Street for dinner and then Muddy Murphys and Orchard Hotel once again... also with my cousin and her friend.
today, i went dinner with Estee and got my "percussions" haha..

and soooo it's a nice nice nice Sat night.. i've been smiling to myself quite a bit... hehe.. this man... charming man.. the thought of him makes me smile.. and i still can't figure out why...oh! hotness! hehe
sooo what have i been up to this past week....
so Wed of coz the normal night out.. if i keep on doing this, i might get sick of this soon... but i probably said this months ago and fortunately/unfortunately, i'm still not sick of it yet. haha
soooo it was a mad rush from office to Clarke Quay to meet Estee at her new office building which is btw, damn cool haha.. then we cabbed to the coffeeshop opposite Zouk.. for a quick dinner... then crossed over to... errr.. Zouk haha for Powerjam Finals 2007! Izaar, the male vocalist of the band im in who is also the lead singer for Fatskunks (who won last year's Powerjam) was performing.. and that was my main aim to be there.. to watch him.. hehe
and so i diddddddd........... yay!!! then it was another mad rush to Insomnia.. haha call us/me hopeless.. but Insomnia was quite a let down.. maybe i go too much? or maybe coz not many cute guys that night... there was this one though... which i'm very thankful to Estee for pulling him over.. hehehe..this guy has such a unique look.. very exotic.. almost hawaiian.. hotness.. but a lil short hehe and there's this French guy i met from ages ago... and i see him so much.. he's sick sick sickkkkkkk..... ewwww and then there was guy Estee had her eyes on... but i shall not blog too much bout that hahaha... oh New Yorker! hahahahahahahahahah smack!!
thenn if u think thats the end, it was another mad rush to Boat Quay.. can u imagine?? on a Wed night.. 3 clubs.. crazy... went to another Canto Pub hahaha... where we hung with Estee's friends hehehe.. very Chinese la.. with the Martell and Green Tea.. reminds me of Aalbs at Rae's bday and Jarmo at the other canto pub hahaha.. and of coz there's the peanuts and some weird dice game.. and the pool table and mandarin karaoke haha.. how typical.. how interesting..
then it was homeeeeeee.....
oh and work on Thurs constituted a lot of stoning and day dreamingg.... sorry Khai i couldn't go for Dinner.. i really needed to sleep.. and that was exactly what i did.. 1030pm and i was knocked out!!!
sooo Fri..... work was fine.. in fact, it was pretty exciting coz Khai, Daryl and i went shopping during lunch yay! we went for 1.5 hrs lunch.. i bought a really cool pair of shoes... vintage man haha.. Khai too haha... (right about now, khai and i r discussing bout our shopping lunch on Monday).. yes.. call us hopeless.. but i did see this pair of shoes... hahahahahhaha (and right about now, Siying is asking me to check out the sale on ASOS.COM.. omg!) haha
i thought it would be my last day at DB b4 i get thrown back to the branch but looks like i have a few more days and i will treasure it.. hehe
it was a colleague Azzura's last day at work as well.. she'll be missed.. ;)
soo after work, met Estee for dinner at Swensens at PS.. which was not where we wanted to dine..We wanted Manhattan but long wait and Estee was almost fainting hahaha.. sooo we wanted Jap food.. also wait.. then it was Thai food.. also long wait so Swensens had the shortest queue.. but no regrets.. food was pretty goodddd.. heheheh
then it was more shopping.. this isn't funny anymore hehe
then it was to Orchard Hotel lobby to chill with the band.. hehehe i wanted to bring Estee there.. and the bar manager came up with a new drink he concocted.. it was potent man.. it got me so heated up and red.. and not in right mind hehe..
then we made our way to Ballymoons where i know Darren would be. he told me he'd be there.. i said i might drop by.. and so i did.. and yes. ;););) i am totally smittened by him.. hehe..
then went to party a bit downstairs with Nana and the Raw Vibes..
then it was up again with Darren and Graham.. btw Graham played for under 21 UK Rugby team.cool.. hehe
Darren was supposed to leave by midnight coz he had a flight to catch the next day but we got caught up and left at 3am hehe.. he was almost gone hehe..
this afternoon, i received a text from him.. "i missed my flight" hehehe.. i wasn't very surprised..
but he leaves tmr morning..
can't wait for him to come back ;);)
so then we went home.. and Estee was so excited to play with her new toy.. i call it the "Beyonce" phone.. hehe the Samsung one.. damn cool. i shall get that same one too.. but im so reluctant to spend on phones.. but since i need a new mp3 as well.. might as well? iono hehe
so today, mum got me up to go shopping.. my life revolves around shopping.. i need help hahaha.
then when i got home, i was so bumped.. Mark called saying he's on the way over.. then im like "yea okok. call me when u get here".
so i suddenly jerked up and it was 2 missed calls. i panicked man. so i called him and hes like "oh i just reached. i called u just now coz i was at Macs drive thru. wanted to ask if u wanted something"... awww. hes so sweet hehhee..
so yea.. jammed with Mark...
then...ever since, i've been bumming around.. planning my week.. my months.. hehe
Cousin, Alex, who came to visit years ago, will be coming again! she lands tmr! so i guess it'll be busy days, weeks to come with her around ehehehheheeh

It takes a lot of courage to say what i'm going to say now... i have decided to stop mourning and start facing the world again..
U guys who have been religiously reading this blog would know how much i love Leo.. so u guys also have to right to know that we're no longer together. we have gone our separate ways... and i would really appreciate it if u guys respect me and not ask me why... let's just say people change... and i have learned a lot from this..
I'm letting him go now... coz i love him still... i believe that if we're meant to be, he'll be mine again someday..

Hooked on "Nureena" By Ram King... :) it's on repeat on my iTunes.. hehe..
if u guys have been an avid reader of my blog, u guys would have known bout the existence of this gentleman, Ram King.. i described him as "the white ranger" of the Power Rangers.. his long mane and chiselled features as well as his mixed heritage is simply va va voom.. hahahah! right! but yea.... he has nice originals..i never really realised he could sing as well.. i am impressed.. hehe
okok.. i've not blogged in ages.. tat's coz i've been crazyyy insaneee busyyy yea! ;) let's see what i've been up to!
hmmm Wed was spent working at Direct Banking! yes!! it was back to Paya Lebar for me.. to help out.. i miss Selegie tremendously.. all the hustle and bustle of town... but i was really happy to be with my colleagues in DB. i miss them.. i miss their craziness.. i love them! :):)
then.. after work, it was once again... INSOMNIA! oh man. i miss that place so much.. i took quite a break from it.. ever since the exchange students left.. but the new batch r slowly streamin into this tiny island of ours. and i am very excited ahhaha
so it was dinner at Cafe Cartel and then off to Insomnia.. initally, it was disappointing coz it wasn't as crowded as i hoped it would be.. the moment we got in, there was this guy whom i shall call "the drunk guy in red".. i forgot his name.. he was insanely scary.. so estee had to constantly remind me not to be too friendly and smile at every soul i see... so i did and i was safe...
then.. at the corner of the club, i saw 3 guys... 3 pretty hot boys.. the one in the middle absolutely, without a doubt, reminded me of Aalbs.. exchanged glances we did but that was all. i would have done something if he was alone hehe.. but anyway, when Estee needed to go get another glass of wine, i was left alone.. this "drunk guy in red" came.. omg! so he started mumbling.. i just stood there.. his friend came blah blah.. Estee came back and the next thing we know, 2 guys came to us.. and rescued me from this "drunk guy in red".. i must say, 2 cute Asian things.. i couldn't make out where they were from but they had sexy accents. of coz, my 1st qn was "where r u from?".. i kept hearing "burmese"... i mean, i would expected some asian country but if he did say "burmese", his english must be horrible. i mean, even if he was Burmese, my qn was "where r u from?". his answer should have been "Burma/Myanmar".. but anyway, i kept making him repeat himself..in the end, i figured it out.. they're from Paris.. which is weird as well. usually, people would just say they're from France.. not specifically Paris. but anyway, they're Vietnamese Frenchies.. hehe.. one had a French name which i can't speall.. Anton? iono... and the other one is either Ian or Yen. hahaha.!! damn the loud music.. but yea.. they're so adorable.. they dance so cute.. hehe i likee..
but at the corner of my eye, i saw a Nick Carter look a like. hehe i had to do something. so Estee bought some fries.. so i grabbed his arms and said "i can't finish my fries. want some?".. so he said no but he picked one up and fed me. so i did the same.. he was so adorable ahaha.. then later, he came again.. took a fry and fed me and bit the other half.. and... hahahah.. wooho! haha damn!
ok.... Insomnia is the best! the best! omg! the best!! then i went to Le Baroque! coz Yus was playing with Douglos O's band there.. the club was empty and Yus told Doug bout me. he was the judge in Idol so he did remember me and he asked me to jam a song or two.. it was such an honour. i had a blast!!
man! i love Wed nights more than weekends! hehehe..got home at bout 3.30am.. damn
then on Thurs, i was so dazed.. but i survived.. hehehehe i had to rush home on Thurs to jam with Mark.. our last jam before the gig.. hehe.. so exciting..
on Fri, after work, Khai and i were just hanging around. wanted to get a new phone but not willing to fork out that amount coz my contract has not ended yet.. then we went shopping at. HAHAHAHAH! damn Khai! haha then i had to rush to Ballymoons.. Mark and i did fantastic for the 1st time hehe.. i'm so proud of him.. hehe everyone thinks hes so cute heh.. then there was this patron.. HE'S SO HOT! hahhaa... he's a lot older than me but he has that "Richard Gere" charm.. so hot omg! we're keeping in touch ;) ;)
despite the unnecessary drama that night, i had a lot of fun! i met so many cool people.. i love it! thennnnn coincidentally, Mark's good friend is this dude called Lionel... so Lionel came with his wife.. whom i find very very familiar.. but i just couldn't put my finger on it.. then it snapped! the wife is my cousin's ex-colleague and i know her coz her husband is my ex-bf, Leo's officer in the Commando.. what an insanely small world.. damn!! so yea... and to LEO... IF ONLY U TOLD ME BOUT UR INSECURITIES RATHER THAN BE ALL EGOISTIC BOUT STUFF, I WOULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD U.. but anyway, that's over but the song "i will survive" that night was dedicated to Leo. hehe
soo yea... Fri night was so cool. and to make things even better, i got home and i decided to check my email and i saw Ram King online ;) .. we had a video call.. i miss him so much...we caught up and he sang to me.. he makes me smile.. i feel so horrible for all the things in the past.. i never took him seriously when he was here.. now he's away and i want him back.. :( we chatted till 5am.. and i was done..Ram, come back. i want u back! :)
then it was Sat.. i slept in.. didn't go to work. hehehe.. thennnn got up and had to get ready for 2 weddings.. Lyn, my JC mate as well as Raizan, my colleague.. it was exciting. i got all made up.. hehe Estee came along with baju kurung as well. hehe.. i met my JC mates after so long.. then i realised Amir, who is my neighbour Malvin's bestfriend is Lyn's cousin.. damn the world is small.. but the most exciting thing was to bump into my "prince".. my first kiss. hahah back in kindergarten, i was sleeping beauty.. and i had a prince.. and he was there.. heeheeh. i was too shy to talk to him though hahahahahah.. i sang "If i Ain't Got You" for the couple and they danced and i made Lyn cry yay! hehe i almost cried too hee.. her mum cried too heheh so sweeet..!
the weddings were interesting. i hate weddings bout these 2 were exciting. at Raizan's, the MP, Zainal Abidin was there. and there were performances from Nuradee. so exciting la hehehe
Estee and i were then all psyched up for Sat night out. we even brought clothes.. but but but but i got tireed.. we got into the cab at bout 10pm and we told the cab driver "Chijmes".. then 10 mins later, "uncle, sengkang and sembawang" hahaha.. damn!
so it was a sat night at home. i needed the rest..
today, my grand uncle passed away.. :( my late grand dad's bro.. went for the funeral.. went to visit my late grand dad's grave as well.. i miss him so dearly. i love u Atok.. :)
got home at 7pm.. bought thosai masala for dinner.. something i've been craving for in ages..
i am gonna fix my nails..
and it's back to work tmr! at Paya Lebar! omg! i miss Selegie and the people and everything!!!
oh and btw, all of a sudden, i got a call "eh 17-20 Aug, branch trip to Bangkok" omg!!

i want a boyfriend... a boyfriend who sings well and will sing to me every time i ask him to...
i'm a sucker for singers... i melt.. *swoon*
it's been quite sometime since my bday that i really went out there to party. so last night, i vowed to check out a few new night spots..
b4 that, dinner of coz at Vino Vino with good food and wine and omg, a nice looking boy. hehe the singer... omg... i was so smittened. i could have just sat there for hours listening to him. he might have gotten a lil scared coz i looked like a total psycho gawking at him.. i smiled and just stared at him.. he saw me doing that a couple of times but he's so shyyy.. oh shy musicians.. say awwwwww...hahah
i was with Estee and Sam.. dear Sam got tipsy yet again haha and he started saying funny brow raising comments haha.
haha.. so then we headed to Durty Nellys which is near Marina Square, opposite Balaclava.. very nice chillout place. Nana and Talib sang there last night. it's such a cool place.. u guys have to check it out.. nice place to chill and chat.. i wanna sing there too, NANA! hahaha.. tell Nigel ah! don't wan that woman!! hehe
then, we wanted to check out Balaclava but there was a pte function.. so we made our way to Clarke Quay..

still recuperating from tiring working week.. from last night's gig..
got permission to leave work at 4.30pm. headed to MOS, 54 for SME Bankin Mid Year Party.. agreed to sing a song or two for them hehe.. i was so disorientated in an empty MOS haha... first time looking at an empty Smoove.. looks good haha.. and omg, u know those chairss the hanging ones at 54? i never got to sit on it so i indulged myself! hahaha
party was cool.. heard that it went crazy wild all night long ehehehe.. drunkard bankers haha.
gig at Ballymoons as per usual... till 1.30am.. chilled out till 2.30am.. got home at 3am.. btw, Alan, remember "somewhere over the rainbow", u'll find ur way and get to where u wanna be ;) be strong!
worked today omg! haha almost died.. but coffee saved me..... hehe
i adore my colleagues at Selegie Branch. crazy bunch. very male populated though haha.
after work, branch manager brought us all for lunch at Wild Rockets at Hangout @ Mt Emily.. all i can say is woohoo! lovedd the place man.. damn chill out and damn good foodddd la!

but before i forget.. 4 highlights of the day.
1. a customer walks in and i pass her a number "152".. and she walked away.. she came back and she was like "i don't like this number. it's 8. no luck".. and in my heart "r u kidding me?". she went on saying "i want next number".. so i gave her "153"... and i was figuring out with Racheal where the fuck she got 8.. she added up all the numbers! can u freakin believe it?? wtf! and i'm no queue number dispenser.. i feel so stupid omg!
2. a guy comes to me at the branch and tried to sell me a sauna.. which is installed in the house.. his tagline is "i sell a lot to malays. coz malays hard to perspire".. what in the fuckin world????? i perspire like crazy.. so i was like "huh? but anyway my clubhouse got sauna".. then he said "oh reallly? but im sure ur mum won't walk to the clubhouse to use the sauna right?"... and i'm like "why not? she can walk u know"... i mean.. he probably stereotypes all malay families with mums who put on tudung and can't go to public saunas? sorry dude... knocked on wrong door.. next!
3. i had a very angry customer who was so mean to me.. and so sarcastic.. after speaking to branch manager and got his way, he looked for me again and as Rachael said " Roti prata-ed" and became so nice... he said the people at bank getting prettier la. my name so sweet la. so nice to meet me la.. oh such bull!
4. walking like a duck is not cool.. maybe 20 years ago.. but not now haha..
5. i never learned my lesson with my stilettos and wore to work.. bad bad bad! huge mistake!!
6. Subway is so good. i want more tmr!!

it's almost 1 am and i am supposed to be in bed but if i don't blog now and upload photos, i don't think i will ever do it.... weekend was packed... i wish i had more timeeeeeeeee!!! omg!!
so let's see........... Fri night.. omg the night i rushed from one hotel to another... like i mentioned in previous entry, Nana's friend needed me to cover a set for him at Ink Bar at Swissotel. i was crazy worried coz the singer's a male singer with a very different reportoire from and i am incredibly immature in the industry. i was getting bad jitters the whole Fri at work.. i couldn't even work properly which resulted in a very unproductive day with my phone ringing off the hook settling this and that.. the friend needed help coz he got held up at Live the Dreams.. ehhe he got to top 12 btw.. look out! whheee!
Thanks to Rae and Adrian, they chauffeured me from one hotel to another.. at Ink Bar, i realised the musicians only knew i was replacing singer at like 8 pm. it was a mad rush to figure out reportoire coz like i said, we have very different reportoires and the transposing was a killer coz most songs are men songs and having only 10 mins to figure everything out, i almost peeed my pants! omg! but musicians were helpful so all was a breeze. well, not a breeze but i survived. he wanted me to help out with second set too coz he wouldnt be able to make it back in time but i couldn't coz i promised to meet a talent agent at Orchard Hotel.. yes, the hotel i sang at on my birthday (refer to genie in the bottle vid in previous entries)... the bar at the lobby, Intermezzo, is so damn cool!! the resident band is crazy talented and mad fun! i met the agent and i sang 3 songs and all was cool and she wants me to fax her my reportoire and we'll see how it goes! whee! i found a new hang out... Intermezzo! check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was so mesmerized.. so was Rae and Adrian.. and the bar manager made me a warm honey lemon drink.. on the house baby! so sweeettttttt! coz my throat was giving wayyyyyyy!!!
so yea, we stayed till the end man.. like 1am. haha i didn't intend to stay so long but omg the band was cool. i was dead beat and it didn't help that i had to work the next day...
so sat morning was spent working... then met Estee and Stan (who was ridiculously late!) for lunch at Fish and Co at Parkmall... food was soo good.. service was superb.. company was awesome... played Uno too.. my Fairytale Princess series. hahaha.. then, Estee and i caused some major damage to our purses.. omg major! i bought everything..like i just grabbed without thinking.. sheesh! but no regrets. i was pretty damn happy! so we just hung out in town shopping our asses off till 8pm before scooting away to Timbre for the PowerJam Band Competition. Yus and band were competing! hehe
met familiar faces.. a relative whose name i have forgotten.. sheesh... Randy from Idol. Charmaine from idol. leandra.. bumped into Gary too.. gary from Drum fest.. 1st runner up hehe. he was sober this time round haha.
15 very talented bands!!!!!!! then Dila came by! i miss u babe!!!! didn't intend to stay too long coz i was not feeling too good. in fact, i wanted to skip it altogether but ended up staying till the end. haha like midnight. it's pretty damn early for a Sat night but i was pretty damn sick haha. Yus's band didn't make it to the finals but i can assure u, they're pretty damn cool! their original song is omg! and their cover Hump De Bump was awesome!
soo yea... good Sat night..
thennn my Sunday.. my afternoon was spent at Chinatown Point at Miss Earth Singapore roadshow... with Nana, Talib and Emilee.. so much fun but i wish i was feeling a little better. my throat was being a bitch and i was nervous shit coz i was sooo not fit to sing.. and the flashing cameras were not helping. i was dead scared.. but thanks to Talib, all went well. Nana of coz rocked the house. hehe.. Talib's gf, Naz joined the contest. hehe so prettyy heehehe.. i didn't take too many pics.. Nana did! nana! upload and give me ur multiply add!!!!
got home at 7pm.. feeling sick and very tired. mum reminded me to remove make up coz it's so heavy aha. but i went to my room and my bed called out to me.. and next thing, i was gone. got up at 9pm to wash up.....
so that was my weekend!!!!!!! how was urs?? have a good week ahead!!
