a great Sunday afternoon on which i stick by the 'stay @ home" rule... :)
Mum and Dad just left for Surabaya so it'll just be me and lil bro for the next 5 days... house party i hear?? hahaha... i did hint to mum bout a party though haha but organising it would be a chore.. as usual..
the rest of this entry is written starting 8.30pm... i've been so caught up putting the pics into cds that it's night now haha.. my comp's been so slow so i had to transfer pics to cds.. which i did.. so yay. i can now take more pics! wheee!
ok back to blogging...
so yes the last time i blogged, i didn' t even finish bloggin bout HK.haha i have so much to blog about then.. and a million pics to upload.. i was just thinking yea.. if i was still in sch, i don't think i'll have this much time to spare blogging.. well, to think bout it,i'll just be such a nerd with not much to blog about anyway... hmmm
HONG KONG! ok so Hong Kong... just a skinny of it.. we stayed at Park Lane HK which is situated at Causeway Bay, HK Island. once we checked in, it was about 10.30pm and so we decided to walk around.. and wow..for a monday night, HK seemed like 2pm on a Sat down town in Singapore.. still hustling and bustling.. thus the city that never sleeps.. now, that explains..
i've been to HK before but it was a long time ago when mum and i used to sail with Dad.. i wish i had more memories on that but i was just way too young.. travelling on ships and all.. exciting..
but anyway, Dad had presentations to do the first two days.. so, on Tues and Wed, Mum and i spent all our time.. shopping! duh.. sometimes, we even forget to eat.. haha.. we went to all the recommended places to shop.. the MTR is simple and inexpensive way to travel. we go to Kowloon quite a lot.. Kwai Fong for shopping.. also to the Ladies Mkt at Mongkok.. Temple Street Mkt..just egs.. i can't remember the other places we went to.. haha we explored quite a bit and i felt like a Hong Konger hahaha.. right! the damage... lots of shoes, boots, bags.. insane.. haha. but clothes wise, not my taste..
on Wed night, once Dad finished his conference, he made his way to the airport to pick lil bro up.. while mum stayed in hotel after all that shopping and i decided to explore the night life.. i had all these clubs i planned to go to but i knew i couldn't have went to all so i picked on the infamous Lan Kwai Fong.. where Insomnia was.. i was incredibly excited.. going alone kinda freaked me out.. being in a foreign land and all but i couldn't have missed out on Insomnia.. and it was a Wed night.. hehe.. all geared up, i headed there.. oh man!! the layout was exactly the same.. it was super cool haha i kept grinning to myself.. there was this accoustic trio playing and beep beep beep! Hot guy alert!! the singer was hot shit omg and i was incredibly happy to be alone coz i look vulnerable and easy to flirt with hahahahahhaa.. wtf.. but yea.. ;) it wasn't so crowded initially so to have all the songs dedicated to me was rather sweet hahaha
so i decided to check out another place with a live band.. The Cavern.. a black band plays there.. and being alone helped.. the band actually realised i was not local and came to talk to me.. hiak!
so yea.. i headed back to Insomnia again and it was damn crowded and the band that was playing was the same one playing in Singapore. they actually travel between countries so it was pretty damn cool to see them in another country haha..
so i promised the band at Cavern that i'll come back to see them but i never did coz i text mum and asked if my bro has landed and mum said he's already at the hotel and im like omg! i missed him so much somehow hahaha.. so i headed backkkk!! just damn happy i went to Insomnia haha..
when i got back and saw my bro, i got him changed and we headed out for supper.. it was so cool to have my bro with me.. yay afro power! ahaha
so then the next day, we checked out and brought bro around town.. we had indian for breakfast and our prata was weird ass! haha
we then headed to Lantau Island.. DISNEYLAND! omg i was so excited. i don't know why.. but i felt like a kid all over again.. we went to Disneyland in Aneheim, California before.. but that was like errrrrrrr 13 years ago so i was damn excited to be in fantasyland hahaa.. all those princesses hah. but i was told that i would be disappointed since i've been to the one in the States.. i was still damn excited though.. it was like another world on its own.. so we checked in to Disney's Hollywood Hotel.. everything was Mickey! wheee!
ahaha the MTR from Disneyland was different as well.so cool..we bought 2 day passes to the theme parks.. so we planned to bring bro shopping first.. took MTR to Kwai Fong once again.. and i bought more shoes again! haha then when we got back, bro and i went to the park! we managed to get on some rides.. including the infamous Space Mountain.. which i took in the States as well.. and i thought i was gonna die! hahha but i was prepared for it now .. although it was still damn scary haha then we caught the Halloween parade.. and the beautiful fireworks.. then the park closed.. so we headed back!
the next day, we all went to the theme park.. explored every ride possible.. watched every show possible.omg.. amazing.. i must admit it was smaller than the one in States.. but it was perfect for one day.. i think the one in the states needed at least two.. so yea.. perfect.. and Tarzan was hot .. i was impressed overall although the Cantonese annoyed me quite a bit hehe.. so we were in the pack from 10am to 8pm.. hehehe.. bro and i went to the Haunted Hotel and it was by far the scariest shit mann omgggg.. i screamed so much... shit!
so yea... overall, i was satisfied.. we had to get up at 4am the next morning to catch our flight back home to Singapore..
next family vacation... Dad made me choose between Melb or Korea.. coz we wanan go skiing.. as much as i would love to go back to Melb, we've been there and skiied down Mt Buller so i choose Korea.. so yay! Winter in Korea i will go... if only Byron and i were still friends... but i guess, he decided to be all errr human... bleah!
anyway, when i got home, i was done.. i fell asleep and had to force myself up to get ready for Halloween.. omg! haha
HALLOWEEN! so yea... it was Halloween all over again.. means it's been a year since i met Aalbs.. time flies ... i dressed up as Cruella Deville from 101 Dalmations... mum made me up.. Good Job MUMMY! i scared the shit out of people haha. headed to Zouk and met Estee and her girlfriends.. Zouk always have people dressing up.. like majority of them so it's pretty damn cool.. but the first few hours is always spent snapping photos with random people.. i wanted to check out Clarke Quay on Halloween as well.. so we headed there after.. queued up at MOS and realised we had to pay for cover despite being dressed up coz it was after 11pm.. met Gereon and Anita and they already paid for cover so i had no choice but to go in. coz they actually came for me.. so Estee and her friends didn't wanna go in.. MOS didn't have that many people dressing up.. but i did meet quite a bit.. but by 2am, i was done.. i think the whole HK trip got me soo tired.. so i think i left at 3am with Gereon and Anita.. Estee and her friends headed back to Zouk she told me..
so yea.. Halloween was as fun but it could have been better so now, i shall plan my costume for next year.. wahaha!
WORK! I had to report to Marine Parade branch for the first time.. the journey sucks.. so far.. omg! it was freaky to be meeting new colleagues but everything seemed cool.. marine parade is always so busy being a neighbourhood and all.. so different compared to Bukit Timah.. and Selegie had all the working class people.. so yea.. work is stressful as hell. never been so stressed before.. but all's good. im learning a lot so im real damn happy. which reminds me.. mum and dad not in town so no one to send me to the train station in the morning.. damn. i have to wake up at 6am then.. shit! thats like going to sch man!
INSOMNIA AND ANDI'S FAREWELL! I had no plans whatsover to go to Insomnia this week. but it turned out to be Andi's last Insomnia night before he heads back to Vienna, Austria.. so received text msgs from all Germans possible to be there.. Alex called it "social pressure" haha.. but i had to go coz i knew it'll be the last time i see him.. until i visit him.. hehe. Met Melanie and Alex first.. Toby was already there.. Tyron came not long after..Gereon and Anita were actually having dinner with Andi and his family at East Coast so i hurried them.. they finally came!!! Andi brought his parents and his lil cousin.. soo cool! his cousin's hot but when people started noticing me flirting, they told me he's 14.. and i was like wtf?! hahaha it was so nice to see Andi and his family.. parents r sweet.. hehe it was Andi's birthday as well and Insomnia was all Halloween that night coz it was the actual Halloween night.. i asked the band to sing Birthday Song to Andi and it was all good! i wanted to stay but by midnight, i knew i had to go home. work is no joke so i have to be alert the next day.. so yea.. hhehhehe
on Thurs, i just went home after work.. work on Fri was shit ass.. i almost cried.. :(
BALLYMOONS! My usual Friday evenings.. heheh after work, got a life from colleague to Buona Vista which was a mistake coz i couldn't get a cab from there to Mark's! haha.. so i was 15 mins late.. got to Mark's.. met his Dad after which Mark shook his head and commented 'like first date like that".. blah haha.. oh and also saw his lil bro, Sean.. we jammed and then headed to Ballys! Emma and Wan came to watch the first set. i've not seen them since my birthday so it was nice to see them.. then to my surprise, Gereon and his friends visiting from Germany together with Anita and another friend came to see me sing.. yay. hehe then there was a 17 year old who befriended me and was probably drunk and started a very very very boring conversation bout being a bartender at Molly Malones.. and the whole time he's talking, i was like thinking in my mind 'why am i talking to a 17 year old?".. i had to always get Mark to save my ass by saying 'so hey.. have u met Mark, my guitarist?".. then i introduce them.. then they talk.. and i slowly walk away.. i love Mark for always doin that for me.. i love Mark.. hehe and some cute drunk Scottish people who stole my mic and sang their national anthem with school uniforms. hahaha they just had a company function with 'school" theme.. nice.. it's always fascinating to meet these people..
then there was Graham, Darren's good friend.. Darren's back in the Uk and Graham said he sent his regards thru sms.. i miss him...he's a good man.. and Mick was there too. the ang moh who speaks fluent Bahasa Indo.. Ballymoon feels like home haha
HARI RAYA OPEN HOUSE! So, it was open house all over again.. the food and friends.. i wanna say thank u to all who came! really appreciate it.. my friends from all stages of my life.. my colleagues.. my German mates who actually ate the spicy food.. much love to all. thanks for the Chocs too.. and flowers.. and to Gereon and Co., thanks for the German Moment CD... i really loved it..
BRITISH CLUB! So, right after the Open House, i had to head to Brit Club for another gig.. left at 6.15pm.. was so damn tired by then... but it's always nice to see Mark.. right Mark? haha gig was cool..chilled out.. relaxed... Aunt Noi and lil cousins came.. damn my cousins r so cute.. ahaha lil Gemma, Sarah and Eddy... Uncle Derek was home watching soccer aha so yea.. that ended at 11pm..then Mark drove me out to get a cab.. and once again Mark. i did not want u to send me home haha.. really.. i'm not that dumb.. hiak!!
so yea... Sunday finally came.. and i slept till 11pm and i got up coz parents had to leave for their flight to Surabaya.. mum left me so much chores.. boohoo! haha.. so i shall be responsible and water the plants ahaha
ohh i met my Malay teacher from JC at the branch.. it was so nice to see her.. she was shocked i went to uni and working in a bank.. haha it was the way she said it coz i never listened in her class and always slept and she probably thought i was gonna be some loser.. well, i am still a loser hhaha.. i also saw my Econs teacher at the branch.. so many East people man.. shit haha who else will i bump into!
oh i was youtubing.. and i saw this guy.. i left him a msg and told him tat he's hot and if he'll be my guitarist haha.. damn hes hot.. i still love u Mark.. haha check this hottie out! singing one of my fave songs, Cannonball by Damien Rice.

sooo what's up this weekkkkk... Estee starts her London shift tmr.. which sucks.. i can only see her after 1am on weekdays and weekends.. boo! tmr, i have.. i must get a manicure and pedicure... my nails r disastrous.. i need to get a hair cut also.. maybe on Tues.. i need to get contact lenses..
on Wed, i was told there's a party at Sentosa.. whatever it is, i know i'll be hanging with the Germans. hehe they're always up to something.. and some r already leaving so i would spend a lot of time leaving.. next one leaving is Alex :(
