i'm painting my nails and painfully typing this entry....heheheh its almost midnight and ive been stoning most of the day... let's see what i've done this past week... (shirin talks about herself again.. self-absorbed.. ahem! Khai..)
on Wed, right after work, Rachael and i rushed down to Bishan to get eyelash extensions haha.. never would i in a million years thought i'd do something like that but there's always a first timeeee... hehehe it turned out prettyyy cooolll yay!!!
then... we headed to City Hall to meet Estee at Cartel for a quick bite before heading tooooooooooo.......... Insomnia! duh hahaha Rachael's friend, Manjeet came by later.. as well as Stanley and surprisingly, another colleague of mine, Phebe.. it was not as crowded as the previous week so it was cool..plus, i had this bartender so drinks were pretty easy to get..
which brings me to the next thing.. there's this dude who, apparently, is there every other week as well. according to Estee, he's always there.. i've seen him around but never really noticed..
then i saw him again.. but i never dared say anything.. my groups of friends were standing next to his group of friends.. so i noticed there was a lady in the group.. so i smiled at her and she came to me and say "u come here every week yea?" and she's like " we see u everytime we're here".. and im like omg! then she went on to say "last week, u were standing there".. and she pointed to where i was standing last weekk.. and im like omg ahah so cool
then i slowly penetrated into the group.. hehehe at the bar, this dude stood next to me wanting a beer. i got my drink so i took an opportunity to talk to him.. i'm like "what do u want?" he's like "just a beer".. so i took his bottle and got the bartender to get him a beer but he came back with 3 bottles.. wheee..
so then we introduced ourselves yay.. his accent was very hard to catch.. he's German and his name is something like "Garnier?" haha i dont knowww...
so yea... he's pretty hot.. to me at least ehehehe
then he left and he was like "see u next wed" eehehehehehhe
okok.. then Thurs was as usual, stoning day.. Rach and i went to Mr Bean to stone right after branch closed and then went back to grab our bags and cabbed home..
i got home and had to get ready coz Mark S was coming over to take pics.. so exciting hehehe so yea, we took pics and had dinner and watched tv.. till a bout 11pm and i went to bed right after that... omg sleeeepp!!
then on Fri, i was so much fresher then haha thank God! Sitti came by the branch.. i missed her.. we need to hang out soon!!! after work, i went straight to Mark S's house for jamming.. we didn't really jam but yea, to stone as well hehe then it was to Ballymooonssss.... ps: Mark S, i got "friendster" pics on my phone.. i haven upload but i promise i send u when i do haha Mark K came by.. thanks for coming by dude ;) then Diana jammed with Yazid. then Leandra came by and she jammed with Yazid as well.. highlight was when Peter and Tony from The Untouchables came by again.. they're so much funnn and freakin talented!!!!! after our set ended, we chatted and stuff.. also met this really cool American dude, Matt. haha he had so many stories.. he met John Mayer on the plane man hahaha super cool! got home at bout 3.30am or so.. and i'm just sooooooo glad i didn't have to work the next day hehehehe
on sat, i got up prettyy late... like noon or so.. then estee suggested a movie so i put my free movie passes to use.. got ready and headed to the Cathay to catch "No Reservations".. i didn't know what the movie was about but i heard it was pretty cool... only to find out it is about dating people u work with... makes me wonder if it is ever possible to stay professional if u were to date someone u work with.. takes a whole load of discipline but possible... i think..hmmmm
anyway, we then had dinner at Waraku Jap Restaurant.. yummmmmm
then headed to Zouk for Ms Earth Finals.. super cool.. met so many people at the VIP area. sang "If I Ain't Got You"... got backstage. with all these girls... any guys dream come true hahahha the emcee was Chris Phua (winner of Cleo Bach.. hot stuff!).. and Genie (i think singer/songwriter and celebrity blogger?) we stayed for a bit... met this lady Olivia who knows so many people.. haha she asked me to call her if i was going to Attica for the Ibiza Carnival..hehe.. Then Nigel called the boss of Gotham to let me and my friends in later.. damn cool..
then me and Estee headed to Clarke Quay to meet my German friends. Tyron and 2 of his friends.. we headed to the Arena to watch Alan and Shamila.. im so proud of Alan. he did well in Live the Dreams hehehe.. and he kicked ass last night as welll.. hehehe
then headed to Gotham and door bitch wont let us in.. made us pay so im like no way. called Nigel, met them at Cuba Libre and Nigel brought us alll in hehe. yay!
saw the Odyssey guys in action again.. stale performance but still sizzling hot.. Olivia knows them personally and she promise one day, i will get to talk to them.. ahahha those boys are so sweet. they sent Olivia home one night when she was alone awwww.. Leandra and her friend, Sascha, were drooling haha
then it got boringg.... Nigel suggested heading to the "Pump Room".. but instead we had supper at Satay King and had loads of food... haha
Then Olivia came by and she brought us to Attica.. so cool to know them. never pay cover all haha thennnnnnn the moment i got in, i saw Mike!! kebab man, Suat's friend, whom i met at Insomnia 2 weeks ago. he called out to me and hes like "hey babee. i saw u on stage at Zouk. nice to see u at Attica now" and im like "omg! Singapore is tooo tiny!" freakky.. but yea it was nice to see him..
then we headed to Attica Too... and somehow, we walked thru the crowd and settled for this spot to dance and next thing i know, someone grabbed my arm and guess whooo.. German dude from Insomnia. the one i've been talking bout non-stop.. the one i can't wait to see again at Insomnia.. he was ther right next to me omgggggggg.. i totally freaked! what were the chances... then, Estee was like having a headache coz the music was insane ahhaa.. so i said goodbye to him and the other lady i met.. her name is Anita. hehe then i was just like going omg omg omg.. then when we got back to Attica and i looked behind, and there they were.. i was like "u going back as well?".. hes like "no. im just following u".. haha so cute.. he tried to speak mandarin too. he's so adorableeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee i gave them my card and i got Anita's number and i hope to see them soonnnnnnnnn
omggggg got home at 4am and bam! done!
oh then i got an sms saying "insomnia?" and im like "who r u?" and i got a long reply saying blah blah blah.. dont know who..
and Anslem, u should give up darling. i dont wanna pick up ur calls and reply to ur smses coz i have tendencies of leading people on and i'm not interested.. im sorry :(
today, i stoned.. hung out with Mummy and watched this movie "My Girl 2" on HBO.. and im now hooked to this song.. written by Charlie Chaplin .. so sweet..

then, i did a search on Britney's performance at the VMA 2007.. which i heard was incredibly disastrous.. the newspaper were criticising it and all.. and oh goodness... it's actually not bad at all.. she looked a bit self-concious but she's still awesome.. and no she is not fat.. goodness.. i still love my Britneyyyy
