its 9.40pm on a Sunday night and as usual, Shirin starts getting depressed that the weekend is ending.. every Sunday, David and i would always say the same thing.. it's "i hate sunday"... yes.. i have this love-hate relationship with Sundays. i love Sundays coz i usually don't plan anything so anything goes. on the other hand, i hate Sundays coz it's the day before Monday... which means a brand new week... i don't know if i'm looking forward to it.... but hey! nothing i can do about it yea.. so let's just smile about it :)

SOOOO.. let's see what i was up to this weekend!! Friday night.. oh how i love Fridays nights.. especially if i don't have to work on Saturday!! soooo let' s seee. On Friday, work was insane! it was full-on man. Shirin was so quiet and focused. hahaha but i really had a whole shit load so yea.. i just did it and rushed to Somerset for a movie with Jia. i was all excited coz we were gonna watch DREAMGIRLS! yay! awesome awesome movie... shows how the music industry really is huh? iono.. i think so.. the cheating, the drugs, how fame gets to someone.. on the brighter side, the fame, the wealth, the passion! hahaha whatever! im crapping.. but good show.. for me at least it was. i mean... MUSIC!! it's all about the Music!

so like, during the show, Jia was like "i'm in a the mood for live band now" hahaha yea.. the music and band got to us so i was like.. "hey me too! so where do we go?" haahah..

so yea..after the show, we made our way pass the CHINGAY! heheh it was so crowded! David would have loved it! i bet he would.. right babe ? :) i remember going for Chingay last year for dear Janna managed to get tickets for me. i went with Pol ;) and CT and Fendi... it was Pol's first time. so yea.. he was pretty excited bout it. but for me, it was pretty errr boring? iono.. haha not my thing but hey.. Jia and i were trying to find our way coz of the road blocks and stuff.. so there were so many paths closed.. so while we were making our way thru the crowd near Taka, we heard loud bangs and we looked up and guess what??? FIREWORKS! so bloody awesome if u ask me!!! right above us.. it was sooo cool!!! like we were at the right place at the right time! but i was telling her "if only i was with some hot guy.. why must it be you?" hahahaha.. it was soo romantic.. i could have just kissed someone right there and then.. which reminded me of New Years Eve where i had that gig at Oriental Hotel and the fireworks were just right behind me and i had no one to kissssssssssss!! i had someone in mind of coz ;) but of coz he wasn't there!! arghh!!

but anywayyyyyyyy, we made our way to Muddy Murphys..Nigel was at Ballymoons but i didn't feel like going there.. for some reason haha.. so Jia and i watched the band and had a few drinks then Nigel came to Muddys. he got us a drink and then we had to go off... i met a few people thru Nigel.. it was alright ;)

we had to go off coz we had to meet the girlies for supperrr at Newton! Thanks girls! for making supper session at Newton and not Simpang.. ;) love!
so yea... had a good one... passed Mel her belated b-day gift.. which i realised i like it tooo hahah so i might wanna get one for myself tooooooo! yay

ok so likeeeee we left at bout 1am or so and i got home smelling like chicken wings coz we were sitting next to some bbq chicken wing stall. ewww! hahah

but yea i was home early on a Friday night which caused some friends to go "Shirin, r u alright?" wtf!! of coz i am!! crazy!

sooo yeaaaaaaaaa.. that was my Friday night.... then i couldn't really sleeppp.. so i slept rather late... but i knew i had to get up early for Johor with the girlies! but i just couldn't sleepp.. esp after all that food.. so bloody sinful ok!!! but i finally got to bed at like 4am? and had to get up at 9.30am.. i snoozedddd.. till say 10am.. saw David online.. talked a bit.. multi tasked.. he was telling me something bout he going to a haunted house and got chased by people with chainsaws.. how cool man! we need something like that in Singapore. i would sooo go and scare the daylight out of myself man.. wheee!!

so yea... Daddy had to go to the Phillys over the weekend.. i wish i could go tooo!!! boo... but for now, Malaysia will do hahaha

so met the girlies at Causeway Point at 11.30am. i was a lil late coz i couldnt get a cab and had to call one. insane! and i felt bad coz i got a cab before this neighbour kid i like.. hahahaha this maybe 10 year old American kid.. hes soo beautiful. he's gonna grow up to be a heartbreaker... whenever he sees me, he'll say "why hello there. how r u?"... oooooooo suave! hahahahha how cute right? hahaha but yea.. his mum and he were waiting for a cab but hey! i called! so yea haha

so yea... Johor was awesome as usual.. headed to the hair saloon and got my hair all tamed ahahhaa.. more subtle colour, trimmed and treated. THANKS GIRLS FOR WAITING FOR ME HAHAHA.. the girls only went for ice treatment coz they didn't know what to do with their hair.. so they waited for hours for me!! aww man. i promise the next time u girls get ur hair done, i'll sit there and wait and do nothing. promise ;)

then....... we went to another mall to get our eye lash curled hahhaa.. we were supposed to get a manicure and pedicure done tooo buttttttttt no time.. coz there was online one lady at the shop and 3 of us and the shop closes at 9pm.. but yea.. we got our lashes curled though hehehehe

then........ it was off for seafoodd! we wanted to shop but it was getting late!
so yea.. seafood was of coz damn good... the crayfish, the chilli crab, the sambal stingray, the herbal chicken, the mantou.. omggggggg!! sooooo orgasmic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ooooooooooo hahahaha

then....... we headed home... got home at bout 11pm and was totally bummed out... just chilled in my room with good music and my magazine.. and slept at 2am maybe... and got up at 9 am.. mum was like "ur up early! thats something new. whats wrong?" hahahah and im like "i just didnt wanna waste my sunday sleeping in"

and right about NOW, some kids are playing those sparkler thingy by the pool. im looking out my window.. what a sight! but it makes stupid sounds.. hahahha

ok... got side-tracked.. anyhoooooo.. i was chattin with David for a bit then mum and i headed to the nursery she always... i repeat.. ALWAYS.. goes to.... i mean.. look at her garden.. the whole Botanical Garden man hahaha... but yea.. it was my first time.. beautiful but i don't really appreciate the floras as much as my mum does..

so then.. we went to my aunt's flat which she rented out. we went there to inspect or something haha coz my aunt lives in Dubai. so yea...the tenant is cool. Filipino girl.. like 2 years older than me. i kinda figured she chills at Insomnia and yes! i was right! haha i never bumped into her there before but Insomnia is cool ;) BNI YA! and the other Filipino band :)

ok then mum and i had some prate coz i've been craving for that like ages man.. then went grocery shoppingggggggg...

thennnnn i got home.. and i fell asleep on the couch downstairs... my stomach was hurting but i'm glad im NOT pmsing anymore.. PMS sucks.. i get grouchy and i say stupid things impulsively and always end up regrettinggggggggg!!

anyway, another week ahead.. i gotta start jamming again for some new gigs.. im excited yet nervous coz accoustic gigs are freaky hahaha

so yea... off to get my nails cleaned up and to my magazine and to bed!! be good all and have an awesome week!!!!

ps: oh then last night, the TP called me.. remember the god damn road block? hahhhaha forget it.. too long a story.. but yea.. he called and asked me to go clubbing with him hahahaha... hahahahhaha.... the people i meet...

pss: i'm still in love with the song... "Slow Dancing in the Burning Room".. playin like a broken record... and it will always remind me of u know who :(
