WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAPPY NEW YEAR! BY FAR, THE BESTEST NEW YEARS EVE EVERR!!!!i mean, i didn't have my family, friends and loved ones with but i had them in mind hehehe my new years was the shiietttt! wheeeeeeeeeeeee
i spent my Saturday freakin out somehow hahaha... mum could sense it.. so being the love of my life, mum didn't let me do anything. i mean, there was a lot cleaning and cooking to do for Hari Raya but coz my mum is so cool, she didn't let me do anything. hehe .. i couldn't sleep on Sat night coz i slept the whole day haha
then on Sunday, no one woke me up.. i got up at noon. everything was cleaned and cooked. i came down to the living room with my pjs and first thing i did was blast my cd and start singing and warming up. hahaa still in my pjs.. all i did was wash my face and brush my teeth. had lunch and at 1, still with my pjs, my cousins came.. all pretty and made up and i was still shit haahaha..
i took a goodddd shower... more like a long bath.. all excited ahahaha.. mum did my make up and hair and all. i got my bags packed and i left at bout 3.15 for The Oriental, Singapore. :)
i got there at about 4pm.. beautiful hotel.. woo!
the stage and eveything was not set up yet so i went with the guitarist, Din, to Axis Bar for coffee. i shouldnt be drinking coffee but i did anyway.. but yea.. wheee.. sound check at bout 6pm! so fun! it was all new to me.. i mean. i've been singing all my life and performing and all but with a live band, it's a whole new ball game but thrillin as hell. and i love the dudes. they're cool :)
so then after sound check, we went to Marina Square for some food at Macs. i had an apple pie coz i don't eat b4 singing. it makes me feel really sick.. so yea.. we stayed till almost 9pm. got my water and strepsils and we went back..
i kept calling mum coz she was next door at the party.. i want mummy so much.. hahaha.. mum passed the phone to malvin coz i so wanted to talk to him. i miss him omg..
i got my video cam set up. Thanks to Abg Yan who helped me yay..
then it was show timeeeeeeeeee!!!! 10.30pm was out first set.. the guests were Russians, Siberians, Bulgarians and so many la i also dont know from what country.. there was a bit of language barrier but hey! music is universal baby.. the ladies were hot hot hot! omg. i was like omfgggggg hahah and the dudes were like wheeee hahahaa
first set was cool.. all on video. i shall upload and edit soon so u guys can view it..
after the first set, i went to meet the crowd. to hype them up.. with sign and body languages haha.. some can speak English though.. it was soo cool. people were shy but so cool. i got them on video too haha
next set was 11.45pm. it was the dance set.. 3 songs and then it was countdown timeeeeeeee.. and we were a few seconds early coz when we did the countdown, there was no fire works yet. haha but when it did come... BEAUTIFUL!! and because Oriental Hotel, poolside, where we were, overlooked Marina Bay, we had the bestest view. no shoving, no pushing.. we enjoyed the view like omggg. i was like bloody excited and i was singing and screamin haha which was also caught on video hahaha sheesh
then the 2nd set continued.... dance! boogiee oogieee! hehehe
then the 3rd set at bout 1am.. then his Bulgarian dude.. he was sooo funny.. he came to me, shoved money in my hand and kept on saying "bulgaria! bulgaria!" and im like "omg. what do u want me to do?"... and i was like shit.. and he gave me money.. so i just went like "hi to my bulgarian friends there! happy new year!" and they got all excited hahha omg.. crazy!
then this Siberian dude came and gave me money too and he's like "Siberian's new year in 2 mins. please count down again".. and mind u, it was already 1.30am hahahahaha.. but we did and it was crazyyy hhahaha
so we went on with 3rd set which ended at almost 2am. crazyy amazing...
oh did i also tell u that the events organiser is Titus. the Dj from Attica. he's the man man! he's so cool!!!! wheeee...
so then, Din and i went to the cab stand at the hotel hoping to get home to sleep. i was planning to go to the neighbours place to party but Kenneth picked up the phone sounded sleepy and i was like "omfg! party over? its 2am!" and hes like"but everyone left la. ur parents also went home" and im like hahahha.. and i called malvin when he text me to ask me where i was and he was also sleeping.. haha he had a flight in the morning..
so yea.. hahaha called a cab. no cabs available. i was getting so depressed that i was so tired and i had no ride home! for once, i was being a good girl and go home, and i can't. so i called my bro and he was with his friend stranded at bras basah hhahhaa.. perfect..
then my love, Stanley, called.. initially asking me where Jia was but i had no clue.. then Jia called him.. then she called me. she was on the way to Bedok for supper with her friends. she asked if i wanted to meet so she'll come to somewhere more convenient.. but i was like "nah just go with ur friends"... next thing u know, Stan calls and he asked me where i was and he was gonna come pick me up and meet Jia and friends at Bedok.. imagine! from Tampines, he came to Oriental to get me then picked my bro up at City Hall (i made him walk closer to Oriental if he wanted a ride) and then to Bedok.. and then send me and bro back to Sembawang, Jia back to Sengkang and then back to Tampines.. omfg?!?! like how can u not love him!? i feel so bad but he kept on insisiting. i really appreciate it man. i got home at bout 5.30 and and bammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! gone. till 2pm.. shucks..
then i had lunch... mum bought food. (she and dad went shopping while i was sleeping. i kinda remembered her asking me if i wanted to go shopping and i was like "huhhhhhhhhhh?" hahaha)
so then we all watched the vid from last night. i likeee hhhaha then i fell asleep on couch at 4pm till 8pm.. haha beat that. i was dead beat! i was too hyper hahahhaa
soooooooooooo yea... that was my new years. i had a great time!!!
