As promised, here i am!! i'm sorry for not updating coz i've been amazingly lazy and "busy". haha.. ok so i didn't update for almost a week!! wheee!!!
let's see... Michelle left on Monday... Tues and Wed was spent bumming really.. i can't remember doing anything productive except maybe help mum with a couple of errands or housework or maybe grocery shopping..
THURS,22ND JUNE 2006Thurs....i can't remember what i did in the day but i know what happened in the evening.. well kind of.. haha.. so let's see.. i remember being in a cab... with by far, the weirdest cab driver i've ever came across..he almost made me cry... somehow, he could read right thru me and i know for sure i don't know who he is.. he was renacting scenarios and screaming at the top of his lungs. i was like damnnn scared like omg. all these while i was like smsing Darryl just to keep myself sane. i was on my way to his place and it didn't help that he's staying so far from me and the cab ride was rather long. like omg!! then when i finally got there, he didn't have change for my 50 dollar note. and he had to like drive me out to Cold Storage so that i can get change. like wow.. just great! and i actually bumped into my dear lecturer, Mr Nageb.. hahaha my fellow coursemates will understand why bumping into him is rather traumatic and funny hahhaa.. but i like him.. he's interesting in his own way i guess.. haha.. ok...
so then, i went to Darryl's.. hung out for a bit.. Tina, his maid, is so adorable haha.. then we made our way to Discovery Studios to meet Wan and Emma. Later, their friend, Nizam joined us. we took the train to Clarke Quay with a stopover at Tanah Merah coz Darryl had to get something from a friend.. so then, we took crazy ass pics which i will upload shortly haha.. got to Home Club and met my bro and his friends, Ameer and Damien.. we headed for the Fort Minor Block Party.. no comments bout the party ah.. we're there to support our friend who organised it so i shall not bitch bout it haha.. but i had good company so it was all good :) Danny also joined us later. we didn't stay too long coz some of them had to work and i have a morning interview. b4 going home, we headed for some supper around the corner.. then headed home with my bro and his friends who stayed over.. this was probably the earliest i got home from clubbing.. got home bout 3am and i was gone!! bum!
FRI,23RD JUNE 2006soooo.. i'm damn glad i already packed my bag and got my clothes ready for my interview. i had to be at International Plaza at 10.30am or somethin.. at Kellyservices, a recruitment agency.. so then, the interview took ages coz i had to do a written test. i was still in a daze actually... i didn't feel like going home so i called Emma to like have lunch or something. i walked round Bugis alone while waiting for her. i bought a tshirt to change into coz it was freakin scorching hot!! while looking at stuff, a palm reader came up to me and said "u seem happy today but i can see ur broken hearted".. wtf.. what's with these people and trying to read me.. damn!
so like i met Emma and we had lunch at Bugis, walked around, shopped a bit and ended up at Starbucks at Liat Towers for gooodddd blueberry bagel with cream cheese and coffeee.... while waiting for my drinks, i saw a familiar face across the counter.. it was Oliver, my junior in sec sch.. i remember him being like a heart throb in school hahaha.. he remembered me and gave me a hot chocolate on the house.. such a sweetheart.. Emma fell in love with him hahaha..
then, i saw Melissa.. started making random comments on idol.. blah. Oli called and i think her friend had some kind of event at Zouk that night or something.
well.. Emma had to go meet Wan at work coz they were gonna go Velvet that night. i was supposed to go but i couldn't decide if i wanted to or not.. plus, i was rather broke haha.. so i headed home first.. when i got home, i fell asleep i think for a bit. haha.. damn tired coz i didn't have enough sleep from the night b4. i ended up not going to neither Velvet or Zouk. Randy also asked if i wanted to go to Devil's but i didn't go la.. sorry Randy..
so like, Justin Lacey is leaving back to Canada on 3rd July.. sigh.. JUSTIN!!!! I FREAKIN MISS U LA TOOT!! MEET ME SOON GOON!
My bro's friend, Damien (who is also my friend) leaving for Australia real soon too..
sigh.... all leaving.. blah!!
PS: VIVA ESPANA!! :) Thanks to Darryl, i'm getting the hang of this world cup thing. i think.. hahahaha he updates me often enough i guess..
SAT,24TH JUNE 2006didn't really have anything planned... i went for a major grocery shopping with mum.. and we stocked up our toiletries like omg. now, we got enough for a million months haha..
got home and decided to help a neighbour out with her party. mum and i helped marinate and fry stuff and blah blah.. helped run some errands..
then, went with mum to get a hair trim.. i had to trim my thick hair.. blah.. then i got home and fell asleep.. Darryl got me up after 30mins right b4 mum came to get me up to go to the party.. i didn't plan to stay long but i got acquainted with some interesting people and stayed till past 1am hahaha.. got home, talked to Darryl and bum! gone!
SUN,25TH JUNE 2006slept in.. caught up on sleep... got ready and left house bout 3pm to accompany bro to Tampines for his sound check for Teenage Icon. my parents came later and i managed to get his friends to come support too.. heheh no comments on the competition. i didn't comment it b4 either haha..My bro didn't get thru but being him, he couldn't care less.. and Haizad baby got thru yay! see i told u dude! u could do it! hehe so yea.. i stayed there till the end.. like 9pm.. hung out at the studios with Emma and Wan with my bro for a while b4 taking a cab home..
spoke to Darryl bout some History stuff hahaha.. coz he was gonna have an exam.
highlight of the day for me was being on stage with Leandra....."competing" agst her in an unofficial competition ;) hahaha.. blah..
MON,26TH JUNE 2006i didn't know Dad took off today so i got ready early coz my parents wanted to go to IKEA..and since i have a dental appointment at NUH, i got a ride! yay! went to IKEA for a bit b4 taking a cab for my appointment.. so like 2 more visits and my braces is off. i hope it'll be off b4 my convocation... hehe.. i went back home by train coz my parents were still shopping.. i stopped by to get lunch for myself and my grandma at home.. got home, ate and got changed and i was out again for my interview at Standard Chartered Call Centre at Paya Lebar..interview was alright.. i just realised i suck at multi tasking.. so we'll see if i get the job or not la.. blah. by the time i got home, it was bout 7pm and i was dead beat. i couldn't even bring myself to climb up the stairs to my room. i had dinner and i fell asleep on the couch while watching a movie with my folks. haha.. i got up coz Darryl called and i finally went up for a good shower.... now, i'm fresh!! wheeeeee.. hahaa.. well, kind of.. i have a feeling that if i lie down, i might pass out. hehe
so like tmr, Oli's bro's bbq party.. besides that, no plans... this entry is so long, i'm bored typing hahaha.. i shall blog more consistently to avoid such long boring entries.. blah!
