wow! seems like i've not new taggers. i may have people comin in to give negative comments but i'm not in the least offended by any. in fact, i'm happy. people r actually reading. just like what they say "let it be bad publicity. bad publicity is better than NO publicity". so yea...in fact, the more controversial entries i write, the more taggers i get. man! if only my life is filled with such controversial situations, my entries would be so interesting...

the tagger,"anugerah", is just so hilariously naive. to think that she/he thinks that an Idol has to be perfect. just coz i said vulgar words and i'm rude doesn't make me less of an idol. in fact,most of these people in the entertainment industry whom everyone idolise r vulgar, rude etc.. only naive and people who r not exposed to the world would think otherwise. sad.. sad...u think i'm a minah? alright i take it.. coz i think ur definition of minah is totally different. but hey, still tag. even with profanities..hiak!

well.. whatever!

ok so i gotta tell u guys bout Saturday.(yesterday).. i had to force myself out of bed coz it was a great rainy, windy morning. but i had to rush down to Balestiar where the Civil Service Club is situated to sit in a vocal training class which i might take over somewhere in Sept. i took the train down to Boon Keng station. i was freakin scared coz i was so lost in tat area. everything seemes foreign to me. i was supposed to get a bus service no. 125 to the club from the train station but i couldn't locate the bus stop at all. afraid i might be late, i hailed a cab and reached there in time.. the session was interesting i must say. trying to coach people to sing like a star would. hehe the intial part was pretty boring with the conventional breathing exercises and stuff but things got all exciting when each student had to come up to sing a song that they chose or the trainer chose for them. they were interesting song choices i must say. an aunt tried to sing "don't cry for me argentina".. not an easy song to sing at all. but yea.. there were also rangey songs like "If i ain't got u" and "angels brought me here".. difficult songs i must say. haha so it was pretty interesting..

the session was supposed to end at 3.30pm but somehow dragged for a bit. i had to make phonecalls to Reshad(whom i got to know thru Leo's mate Prabu. i met Anneleen, the belgian girl friend of mine at the same time) and Pei Sze AKA Diana to confirm our meeting.then at 3.45pm, i had to make a move before the roads start closing for the national day parade preview. i took a cab and initially wanted to get off at City Hall but the driver didn't wanna take the risk and i didn't wanna get caught in a jam so i decided to get off at Novena and take the train instead.

when i got there, i was getting all excited to see my bf march pass.. pei sze called me saying she managed to grad a ticket from a doctor friend of hers who was one of the stand-by medics that day. but since she could only get 1, she didn't wanna go alone. i met Reshad and his American friend, Andrew (whose name i thought was Daniel the whole time) and we went for some Haagen Daz while waiting for Pei sze. so when pei sze did join us later, we found out that the contingents would not be marching at where we were standing. so Reshad decided to walk closer to the Padang but the closest we could get was somewhere r SRC.(the entrance for some ticket holders) SOMEHOW, LUCK STRUCK ME! i bumped into a friend of mine, Ian from sec school who was on duty at the gate. he was like "shirin?" and i was like "ian! get me in!!!!" haha.. and he said "can. but only 1 of u"... and pei sze was like "shirin! go!" but i turned to Reshad and Andrew coz i felt so bad. i was supposed to be their tour guide for the day!!!!!! but reshad was like "go shirin! go see u bf! dont worry bout us"... i was so half-hearted but in the end, i decided to go. haha..reshad and andrew were so nice and so sweet. will meet them again someday. i hope to. they're really nice..

so yea!!! i couldn't freakin believe it!! i was actually walking pass the gates and barricades! i was actually going to watch the parade!!!!!!!!!!!! something that i've always wanteddddddd.. u had no idea how sad i was when i didn't manage to get tickets thru the balloting process... so yea.. Ian rocks! haha .. somehow the funpack part of my ticket was taken away but i still managed to get a fun pack!!! lucky luckyyyyyyyyyyy!!!and i got to choose the colour of my bag!hiak hiak

so, we were sitted at the yellow sector. view was alright but the Commando contingent was on the other side. but it was ok. parade was nice... but pei sze and i left b4 the fireworks to avoid the human traffic jam. we still managed to watch the fireworks though! from clarke quay. oh so beautiful!!!!! the day was so great! although i didn't get to see my bf upclose, i saw the contingent marching so proudly. i was so proud of them... woohooo!!! haha.. my bf had no idea i was at the parade so when he called me later,he was like "what?!?! how the heck did u get in there?" hahaha

so after that, pei sze's friend was gonna pick her up to send her home to change b4 going clubbing. i decided to call Sitti and she and Fendi decided to pick me up at Aljunied station to got for dinner! i was starving. i only had ice cream! no time to eat... they brought me to this secluded place for dinner. it was great and it was Fendi's treat! woohoooo! talk about a good day!!!

then my bf called and asked if i wanted to meet him coz he was on his way back home from camp by train. and i was like woohoooooooooo!!! so fendi sent me to Paya Lebar train station and i met my bf there!!!! man!! i missed him!!!!! he sent me home and we bought some food for my bro and himself.. he came back to my place and ate and we just chilled in front of the tv.. i fell asleep on his lap. hahha.. freakin tired. got up at 1am and he said that he should head home coz he wanted to bring his mum to eat raw fish porridge the next morning and he wanted to go buy a new car. so yea. he left at bout 1.30am..i took a shower and went to bed...

that was an awesome awesome day! everything was UNPLANNED but yet it was just great!!!

today, i went to a wedding. it was fun coz my fave cousins were there. hehe.. i didn't meet my bf coz he was busy buying a car. haha he finally did.. a Nissan Cefiro which he always liked.. and he bought my colour! sapphire black!! yay! haha ok... i just got up.. now going for a shower and off to chill!!!

Today's our 5 and a half years anniversary and i'm thrilled. although i didn't get to see him today, it didn't matter. heh. we planned to meet though after sch but it's too much of a rush. i had to run errands and he had to rush back to Changi for a birthday chalet thingy so yea... it's alright! :) i love him as much as i did 5 and half years ago. in fact, so much more.. although he can be an ass for always telling me i'm fat and tellin me to exercise, i know it's for my own gd. we get into arguments bout it at times though. haha. well, I love u baby.. no matter what..

Today, had lunch with girlies at some Thai place thingy.. gd food but realised me and ct had tummy upset after.. hmmm.. don't know bout Ting.. wonder if she's fine.. hmmm.. food poisoning u say? hmmmm...

i gotta start revising my sch work man. time's flying by too fast.there's just so much to do. i'm getting paranoid.. hmmmm...

wow! i totally need to blog!!

ok here goes..i've not tagged since last week!!! it's been a great week really! lets see!!

tuesday: a spontaneous day indeed! my bf called in the morning and asked if i wanna be sent to sch. like duh!!! haha so he picked me up and off to sch!! after sch, i had lunch while waiting for my bf to pick me up from his dental appointment. after that, we decided to go down town to do some shopping. he bought the jecket from Topman. i like ittttt!! heheh. im glad he got it.. hehe.. well, then we didnt really know what to do. he had a late lunch and then we went to my place. we were killing time coz he had to wait till he pick his mum up from work. he decided to go back to camp after he sent the car back to NYP. so i decided to drive dad's car with mum, tailgate his car to NYP, pick dad up and then send my bf to camp. hehe..spontaneous indeed.. after that, we bought dinner at Changi Village.. yummmmmmmmm hehehe

wed: after sch, had lunch with girlies at Jurong Pt. then walked around and bought a few things. where we ended up splurging on 3 pairs of coloured contact lenses. haha

thurs: after sch, headed to Tampines with girlies.i had to record the 3 ring tone at Discovery Studios. girlies wanted to see the choc fair at Century Square. had lunch then they accompanied me for the recording. but i felt bad for makin them wait so i told them to go to the pasar malam. hehe. jaz left. after that, my darling came by form camp! hehehe he had dinner. we were too full to eat so i picked on his food. at bout 8pm, we decided to take the long trip home.... my bf went to meet his buddies for coffee after which off to camp he goes.. i misss him... journey back home was long, fun and hilarious haha.. too long to type out..

friday: morning, went to gym with mum. then, cooked with mum. had lunch and then my bf came pick me up. he had the day off!went to his place and then he sent me home b4 picked his mum back from work. then we went for dinner with his mum at Metro Paragon and hung out there till he had to book in. i stayed home and packed my bag for my weekend getaway.

sat-sun: Desaru. fun but tiring! hehe..came back on sunday evening. bought dinner at Changi Village. bumped into Douglas Oliveiro on his bicycle. bleah. tired.. miss my bf!!

monday (today): sch, lunch with girlies at Jurong Pt, bought lunch for bf, went to bf's place.. stayed there till 11pm.. came back home while he goes back to camp..

I MISS HIM ALREADY!!!!!!

today, my baby called me in the morning and asked me if i wanted him to send me to sch! like of coz!!! so he came pick me up at 9am and since it was still early, we had breakfast. i had prata and he had lets say, too much to eat? haha and he had to "bomb" my sch toilet. hehe.

today was 1st lecure for biz finance module.. oh so boring aussie lecturerrrrrr... maybe the topic was dryyyy..but yea survived it but was distracted so much today.

after sch, jaz and i headed to town to meet Anneleen (the belgian girl) for lunch. supposed to meet at hard rock but it was raining so heavily so we gambled and went to cineleisure for lunch hoping she'll call soon. (she doesnt have a temp mobile no.).. so yea. lucky we, she called and said she was at heeren and will be late coz she had to run errands. so me and jaz had lunch at cine's foodcourt. i was cravin for the hokkien meee.. hehe. it was gd.. yumm..then we walked a bit b4 ann called and met her at heeren.we had coffee at spinelli and reshad called me and he joined us later. it was an intellectually challenging convo coz coincidentally, we were all taking econs is uni. haha but only reshad was so "into" it. so much so that he hdad to rush back to get ready for his course "investing in stock market" by robert kay. i dont even knoow him haha. heh well...thats a gd thing i think..

then jaz and i had to leave. we walked pass taka bumped into Nat and a female companion (wink). hehe.. then we walked pass Wisma and saw FOX sale... woohoo.. jaz bought a shirt and then i bought 2 flip flops. hah cheap cheap!!

then took the train to YCK to wait for my bf to pick me up. ended up he was late so i walked into nyp and waited for his mum to finish work b4 he finally arrived. then went to his place.. chilled, had dinner.. then he sent me home at bout 10pm. got home.. slacked.. gossip with mum as usual..hehe.. then yea.. now here.. played com. exchanged pic with my bf ... chat with people.. pack bag.. then yea now.. sleeping. ciao

After yesterday, i have VOWED NEVER FUCKIN EVER TO JOIN SINGING FUCKIN COMPETITIONS!idol was already a huge disappointment coz the some of the finalists didnt deserve to be in at all! i should have fuckin known that all competitions were the same..

btw, i got kicked out..im not as pissed about that as much as im disappointed! the fuckin judge Eddy Ali fuckin CRITICISED me for my SLANGY MALAY during the 2nd audition. not only did he comment.. he critiscised! in malay he say "saya meluat, mayampah, telinga berbulu. maafla kalau bapak awak orang putih".. translater, its something like "i get goosebumps, im disgusted. sorry la if ur dad is ang moh".. fuck... at first i was like "ok..i will improve"..then, yesterday at the 3rd round, i realise how MUCH most of us influenced by the indons and their pronounciation. but ONLY I GOT CRITICISED. just shows how much they dislike me! just coz im not as malay as all of them are.. they r lookin for fukcin minahs and mats! gd luck to the show..

also, i realised those who got booted out are those with the powerful voices.. the ones who r in sings like damn soft, draggy.. wth man. is that what they r lookin for?

at first i was like "oh maybe they're goin for looks" then i look at the top 24 again and im like "no way! only like 2?3? r prob cute."...then it made me think.. they dont go for vocals, image.. so what r they looking for? theres girls who danced and actually danced off beat but got in.. the indon guy (who even if hes my friend) totally underperformed. his voice is so "thin".. omg..

i got so pissed that when the floor manager came to talk to me after that, i told him "the whole thing sucks la". then he say maybe i can talk to eddy ali..the fuckin judge. and i was like "talk to him? dont want la. for what?" and i walked off with mum. the bugger hates me. that fuckin eddy ali. he always picks on me. fuckin short loser. i know im being rude and mean but nothing describes how mean he has been to me . when he kicked me out he said "ur diciton has improved but many other things need to be improved" HELLO??? then the rest are pros already is it??

ah no use bitching la. just fukin sick and tired of these shit. no more competitions. its a fuckin waste of time.if anyone from suria calls, they're in for a lot of bitching from me. im not gonna be the timid little fucker anymore.

the industry is dirty and bias.. i hate all of them. gd luck to outdated minahs and mats who got in. no wonder the show is a flop every year. this is how they decide. watch it and u'll know what i mean!

hey! i know ive not been updating...ever since sch started, things have been much of a routine.. its like wake up, get ready for sch, go to sch, lessons, lunch after sch, go home, practice singing, dinner, jog/gym sometimes, study, tv,sleep.. pretty much the same everyday.. oh and my bf has been getting off days a lot so i get to see him pretty often..which is gd but today, i told him i cant meet him coz i gotta practice for tmr's competition..hes out with the guys now. hehe..i miss him soo much!! although i saw him yesterday. hehe

well... im pretty freaked out bout tmr somehow.. a week of practice is really insufficient.. but what to do? its TMR! everyone is so talented... i somehow feel it boils down to luck too... and personality , image and blah blah.. well... i'll just do my best! i'll be contented then..

im not sure if u guys have seen the trailer.. but i was featured but they spelled my name wrongly man. SHIREEN.. thats like so totally wrong! haha ah wells..

i have to go down to discovery studios next week for recording of the 3 ring tones.. i think im just gonnna get it over and done with.. and plus.. Century Square is having a choc festival..oooooooooooooooo!!!! haha

sch is gettin tough....... hmmmmmmm

soooooooooooooo my Sunday (almost the whole of it) was spent at IMM for the 2nd round of auditions... i was contestant no. 27!!!! TALK ABOUT COINCIDENCE!! THATS LIKE TOTALLY MYYYY NUMBER!! hehehe.. i sang at bout 2 plus.. but had to wait till 9 pm for the bloody results!!!!!!!!!!!! but yea.. to cut it short, everyone was good.. i got nervous.. my chances were 50/50... but I GOT THRU TO THE NEXT ROUND! TOP 50! so yea........ this sat is another round!!!! i gotta fix my diction apparently coz the judge say i slang.. bleah!

sch sucks! so much to absorb.. info overload.. im tired but i gotta work hard. i got so stressed last night.. so much things have to be postponed coz too many things goin on right now...

today was KARAOKE day.. wanted to go to city hall to catch fireworks but no one was free. really. i called like so many people... but yea.. it was raining anyway.. by the time it was 5pm, i was too lazy to get ready already.. i will go next week! i must! i want!

yea.. today was NE 1 for pri 5 students.. my bf told me that. next week will be NE 2 , followed by Preview and then actual day. the sucky thing bout it being held at the Padang is that only 30K+ people are able to be spectators at the Padang. compared to like 60K+ at the national stadium.. sucky! but yea, i was checking out the yahoo auctions hopin i could probably purchase some BUT average mkt price is $200!!! OMG! talk bout how when demand increses, there is a upward pressure on price!!!! like totally!!!!!although supply is increasing (COZ THEY ARE MAKING PURE PROFITS OUT OF THIS! they didnt even purchase the tickets! bleah), it seems that the price is not goin to go any lower.. not any time soon at least.. suckkkyyyyyyyyy

well, i did plan to watch the parade from home anyway coz maybe there's a higher chance of seeing my bf coz apparently the president is gonna stop to chat with his friend next to him. so yea! hahaha..

so yea.. my bf's so tired now.. he doesnt wanna be disturbed and im in no position to aggravate him any further coz when he gets annoyed, he gets annoying!!a new phrase.. AN ANNOYED PERSON IS AN ANNOYING ONE! haha.. but yea.. after 6 years,ive know him too well to know as when to i should whine or not... yea..

i am soooo tired!! i had a pretty sleepless night last night so when my mum woke me up early this morning to go to the gym, i whined sooo much!! but yea i managed to pull myself out of bed and yea we went to the gym... then i got home. had a good shower and started to practice my singing.. then my darling called me and ask if i wanna meet him coz he managed to get the rest of the day off. so yea of coz i wanna see him! hehe he picked me up at bout 2pm and we went to his place to chill.. then went to pick his mum up and went to Holland Village for dinner. had dinner at Crystal Jade.. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!! hehehe

i didn't go to Discovery Studios today. goin on tues..

Anneleen is back in Singapore. asked if i wanna go Chinablack. nah.. not the clubbing sort. plus i got home at bout 11pm.. too tiredd...yea.. prolly meet her tmr.. iono man.. i need to practice. i wanna stay home.. im so tired!!! well... i'll see...btw, for those u didnt know, Ann is a friend from Belgium.. i met her at Zouk last year by a mutual friend of ours.. yea.. we kicked it off after that. she had to back for uni and now back for hols. yup..

first up, i'd like to say ( i know everyone feels the same way) that what happened to London is utterly barbaric and totally disgusting! lookin at the innocent victims of the multiple explosions on tv just made me so depressed.. what if that happens in singapore?? which is something NOT impossible anymore! this just comes to show that terrorism and strike anywhere and it's freakin the shit out of my fat ass! sigh.....

well.. on a lighter note, i have so oh so many things to look forward to.. first up, my 2nd auditions this sunday which i'm really nervous about but at the same time, anxious :).. i also have cover recordings for ring tones where i have to record 3 songs for mobile ring tones.. 1) don't know why 2) fallin' 3) breakaway.. i gotta say that those r not easy songs to sing.. i dont know how im gonna pull thru. practice i guess???? and also i was offered to be a vocal coach for a basic vocal traning class. it's pretty exciting coz i never trained anyone b4. i, myself, need to be trained. gosh.. but yea.. the money's pretty gd and i could do some extra $$..hehe.. oh also, i'm gonna sing at my cousin's friend's wedding dinner. pretty interesting too. coz i do love weddings although i do hate attending them. hehe.. but yea... it's so romantic and sentimental and is indeed a day to remember. hehee..and one more thing to look forward to is hoping to lose as much weight as possible so that i can look pretty in a pretty dress and accompany my bf to his ORD dinner and dance at Furama Waterfront Hotel on the 16th Sept... am i excited or am i excited? i promised to lose weight.. for many reasons but most importantly, to look good la. and stay healthy.. so.. im gonna discipline myself.. I WILL! I MUSTTTTTTTTT!! HELP!!!!hehe

well... yea... so many things to look forward to.. but sch is gettin tough. i can't neglect that. i will not.. i'm trying to be consistent and revise sch work everyday but i've been so lazy.. i cant be anymore! i gotta pull thru!!

tmr, i dont have any classes. i will hit the gym in the morning.. then practice singing and then go for my vocal training briefing thing.. on sat, i will stay home and then i might drop by Padand to check out the NDP rehearsals. apparently, my bd says the "air works" is interesting.. oh and also, my buddy Jill, will be performing at PS Atrium. i sure do wanna see her perform. im pretty sure Oli will be there too.. on sunday, i got my second auditons after which i'll spend the rest of the day with my bf..

ok... thats my updates for now..oh one more thing.. i heard my bf speak bahasa indonesia and he sounded oh so darn sexy.. goodness.. why wouldnt he want to converse with me with that language!!! i cant beleive it.. after 6 years! i didnt know he could speak the language (despite him being half indon).. ah! leo's just full of surprises.. i love him haha. ok enough! GOODNIGHT!!

sooo today was 1st day of a new sch sem! wasnt really looking forward to it but there's no running away!!!!! our lecturer, bruce cowling,was hilarious and constantly talkin bout food.. his accent was freakin strong and he spoke so fast.. topic was confusing.. shucks!!! but i hope things will get better. topic was so dry today! boring!!

after sch, had lunch with the girls and discussed today's lecture.. then i took a cab to my bf's place.. stayed there and fell asleep.. so tired!! then his mum came home and prepared dinner.. oyako don! woohoo!! my faveee!! heehe.

i got a call from anugerah reps today telling me that my 2nd audition is pushed forward to this sunday at IMM at 1pm.. shucks!!! im so freaked! i got to practice! i need my honey lemon strepsils! i need my water! i need to protect my voice! hahaha freak!

ok. right now, i got to sleep.. tmr's another day of sch! GOODNIGHT!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. today was the auditions for Anugerah!! i was anxious as to how it'll turn out. surprisingly, when i got to IMM at 11.30am, there was no queue as yet. people were still loitering around at the 5th floor. when they eventually asked us to queue, i went to the front of coz. haha kiasu.. i ended up contestant no.5 (005).. hehe.. it was all singapore idol-like.. less people of coz. after registering and organising ourselves, we were ushered to the 3rd level where the stage was.. (open auditions). it was pretty nerve-wrecking.. this is my 1st time singing a malay song really. got interviewed in malay and i was like errrrrrrr... shucks!!

well, it started at 2pm and it went on pretty fast. and yay! i got thru! to the 2nd round of auditions.. gonna be held on 16th july.. at the studios! well, looks like it's back to mediacorp reception all over again. today wa overwhelming coz i recognised most ofthe crew members from idol and they actually remembered me. of coz i was happy la! haha

the sucky thing was i ended up singing only 2 verses and i didnt get any comment. i dont know if thats gd or bad. ah wells. i got thru so whatever. haha

i wanna thank my friends who actually did come to watch me sing for less than 10 secs. haha Zeeze and Idhafi from my sec sch.. so sweet of them to drop by.. pics of them below.. also to my two girlies, Ting and Al who although had no idea what i sang, still came to support me. hehe.. thanks love! muacckkss! thanks so Zeeze's mum who actually came too.. i heard she cried when i sang.. which was really sweet of her.. hehe.. and also to my uncle and auntie and lil cousin.. thanksss!! hehe.. and of coz my parents! love ya! hahaa.. i really appreciate it la.. really!!

I AM BACKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehe.. i've been too lazy to blog but here's an update..

hmmmmm... b4 i get to that.. i gotta admit that i have quite a number of pics in my cam which i did no upload for the longest time.. i finally did and here r some of them.. but thing is... u gotta start viewing from the last one up... sorry bout that.. haha..

the pics right below were taken ages ago when Ting and i hiked up Bukit Timah Hill. again!! haha. it was great coz this time, without Alvina whining (HAHA!), we managed to trek.. not walk up the road. haha. it was good.. it was sunny but nature helped us stay cool. haha

the following pics were taken on my bday.. i was having so much fun that i ended up only snapping 2 pics.. of my darling and the lil card he made for me. the rest of the day was already been blogged b4. haha

then comes the most recent ones.. taken yesterday on my darling CT's bday.. hehe.. after much planning (and a few screw ups. hahaha!), we managed to surprise ct at her doorstep that morning while she was getting ready to meet us in town for lunch. thanks to her fiance, Fendi, we managed to get there in time with a birthday cake. (2 slices actually! haha).. and of coz we passed her the much awaited dvd player which we bought for her. and not forgetting the microphone. haha.. it was so much fun coz it's not everyday u get to surpise someone and seeing that look on their face is just priceless.. hehe..welll... then we had lunch at taka's seoul garden. after which we went shopping. we got bargains man! super great bargains! haha then we chilled at nydc for mud pie.. it was so much fun..

also, i got to see my baby! he managed to vook out for a few hrs today but becoz i went out with my friends, i couldnt meet him. but it was such a surprise coz when he called me, i was still in town and he was like "hey. i just finished watching a movie." and i was like "where?!?!".. and he was like "cineleisure.".. i was like OMG! HAHA. he was sooo nearrrr... he didnt want me to meet him though coz he was with this friends.. wth. haha.. but i know all his friends anyway. he was like "dont come lookin for me. ur with ur friends.".. and i was like "no!! i wanna see u!" haha.. then we finally met at borders.. i was freakin thrilled. like ive not seen him for ages. my goodness.. to think of it, i saw him on tues i think. shucks. well.. it was nice. met up with his camp mates too. it was nice to catch up..

then fendi called and said he was on his way to pick us up. ting had a straight bus home.. so i tagged along with sitti. ehhehe we took the lorry.. i likeee!! hehe.. i like lorries. haha.. well, then i went home.. was out since 10am and i got home at bout 9pm.. wth. i was so tired!!! well.. it was a great day!!

sch starts on monday and im dreading ittttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.. BAH!
